The contrast between shooting in places like rural China and coming home to shoot runways like this just blows my mind. Every time. Super thankful and excited to be helping out the girls from Enigma this Fashion Week! More photos to come.

Apparently I was the 3rd white person to ever stray into this part of Henan. Everyone was super nice, I cannot thank the family I stayed with enough. I just woke up for the 3rd time back in Canada with a new appreciation for heated homes, running water, toilets, breakfast stuffs, and internets. A few photos from the area to follow…

+Last Night in Guangzhou+
So it’s been a super busy couple weeks… haven’t had the chance to take many photos that I can actually post. I’ve been shooting a feature doc about a woman’s prearranged marriage and it’s been pretty moving. 793GB into it so far. I can’t say much more than that right meow but by the time you read this I’ll be pretty much internet-less for the rest of the trip (2 more weeks) because I’m traveling 18 hours north to her hometown by train. Here are a couple shots I just took around where I’ve been staying. Oh and that building with the video screen on top of it… it’s a karaoke hotel. Yep, every floor is a different theme and all the bedrooms were converted into karaoke rooms. They do it right. It’s 4:10am, I’m out.

Took myself for a walk yesterday. Although there are very few parks, greenery is everywhere and it is beautiful. But no trumpets you guys.

28 hours and 10 minutes, door-to-door. Fun fact, China’s “Great Firewall” blocks facebook, tumblr, twitter, and other social media so I won’t be able to post as instantly as I would’ve liked. Hiss.
